Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard and Newton County Sheriff Colton Havard have announced that the reward for information that leads them to the body of Joshua Larkin has increased to $15,000.00.
Larkin went missing in November of 2022, and recently the Newton County Sheriff’s Department arrested four men accused of taking part in the murder of Larkin.
Justin Taylor James – Charged with Murder
Johnathan Cody Bierhalter – Charged with Murder and Tampering with Evidence
Rodney Allen Blankenship – Charged with Tampering with Evidence
James Alex Jones – Charged with Tampering with Evidence
Investigators say Justin Taylor James has admitted that he shot and killed Larkin when Johnathan Cody Bierhalter held a pistol to his head and ordered him to shoot Larkin, saying he would kill both of them if James didn't do as he said.
Chuck Havard and Colton Havard say the reward increase was made possible by Texas Equusearch, private donors, and others involved in the case.
