Polk County Today is reporting that a woman involved in a crash in Polk County on Monday afternoon has died. It happened on Scenic Loop which is on the eastern shore of Lake Livingston. The Texas Department of Public Safety says Dana Bowman, 53, of Livingston, was driving a 2014 Hyundai Elantra when she crossed the center line and collided with a 2024 Toyota Rav-4 driven by Roger Dousay, 76, also of Livingston. Bowman died later at CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital. Dousay had only minor injuries.
