Sheriff Aaron Mitchell and the Sabine Parish Sheriffs Office announce the Fall 2023 Hunting Season is in full swing. During this time of the year, the highways and roadways in Sabine Parish often become littered with corn sacks. Sheriff Mitchell asks all hunters to please secure your sacks and trash inside your vehicles. We have been accustomed to throwing sacks and trash in the bed of a truck or trailer. These eventually blow out onto the highways. Sheriff Mitchell hopes everyone will do their part and stash your trash. Sheriff Mitchell and the Sheriff's Office wish everyone a safe and successful hunting season.
