Power outage that was planned for part of Shelby County cancelled

SHELBY COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative had announced a planned power outage for Wednesday, but it has been cancelled. The outage was set to last from about 1:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. on July 3, the cooperative said. Crews were going to use the time to perform maintenance on Huxley Substation. The outage would affect residences along FM 417 around the 4000 block, north on FM 3172 to the FM 139 bridge, Huxley, Huxley Bay, Ragtown, Rolling Hills and Doyle English.
