According to Louisiana State Police, human traffickers tend to intensify their illicit activities during the festive season. Troopers said there is no single indicator that can tell someone a human trafficking situation is taking place. Troopers said that anyone who suspects human trafficking should call the Louisiana State Police hotline at 800-434-8007. In the event of an emergency, call 911.
