Jasper Police have turned to the public and are asking for help to identify people who injured a person as they were stealing beer.According to police, on Thursday, July 11th the people took beer from a convenience store. As they were trying to drive away, police say a person tried to stop them, but that person got hung on their vehicle and was dragged across the parking lot. Police say they fled in a white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Equinox. If you recognize the people in the security camera images, you’re asked to contact Detective Cody Christopher at 409-383-6167, or call Jasper Police at 409-384-3471 and speak to any officer.
