Police reviewing security camera videos after theft from Hammer Equipment

Jasper Police Detective Joshua Hadnot said Thursday that the investigation is continuing following a recent theft from Hammer Equipment on Highway 96 North. Hadnot said "We're trying to develop some leads." Lieutenant Garrett Foster said earlier in the week that the crime occurred at about 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 8th. A report filed by the investigating officer said that a $43,000.00 Kubota skid steer was found in the grass on the other side of Highway 96, but an $n,000.00 Kubota cutting unit that goes on the front of a skid steer is missing. Lieutenant Foster said that video of the suspects and their truck that was pulling a trailer was obtained from multiple security cameras at the business. Detective Hadnot said Thursday that officers have also been reviewing security camera video from other nearby businesses.
