Jasper Police Lieutenant Garrett Foster said Monday that officers are investigating a trio of auto burglaries that occurred over the weekend, resulting in two handguns and a camera being stolen.
Foster said officers responded Saturday morning to 400 1st Street when Joseph Tvrz discovered that someone had burglarized his 2018 Hyundai Elantra and stole a handgun.
According to Foster, late Saturday night officers were sent to All Hours Fitness on Marvin Hancock Drive when Madison Richard found her 2012 Nissan broken into, and a camera was missing.
Foster said officers responded early Sunday morning to Village Walk Apartments at 400 West Gibson Street when Kenneth Ray Bailey discovered that his 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck had been burglarized, and a handgun had been stolen.
