Police in Beaumont have identified a man who was killed in an early Thursday morning crash on the city's southwest side.
Officers said Corey Sennet, 33, of Beaumont died as the result of the injuries he received, when a vehicle turned in front of the motorcycle he was driving in the 4200 block of College Street, not far from the Raceway fuel stop and Denton Drive.
Officers said the accident occurred shortly before 6:00 am as Sennet was eastbound on College and a car that was traveling west and turned onto Denton Drive in front of the motorcycle.
Sennet was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred as large blanket of fog covered all of Southeast Texas.
