Entergy crews will be performing maintenance on a 138,000 volt transmission line that feeds power to Jasper and it will result in a power outage for the entire city.
The power will go off at 10:00 Saturday night and should come back on around 6:00 Sunday morning.
Jasper Police will have additional officers on patrol, and the City of Jasper is asking drivers to treat intersections with traffic lights as 4-way stops.
