Sheriff Aaron Mitchell reports the arrest of Roger J Pilkington (age-80) of Many on June 26, 2026.
Sabine Parish Sheriff Detectives began an investigation on June 23rd after parents of a victim reported Pilkington touched their daughter inappropriately while attending a private in-home daycare. A total of five juvenile victims ranging in ages of 5-10 years old have come forward.
All victims were interviewed at the Gingerbread House in Shreveport by trained child forensic interviewers. Based upon evidence gathered during the interviews, Detectives believe the crimes against the children had been going on for the last two years.
Detectives obtained arrest warrants for Pilkington and he was arrested and booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center for:
- 3-counts of Sexual battery, victim under 13 years of age,
- 3-counts of Molestation of a juvenile under 13 years of age.
Total bonds were set at $600,000, he remains in jail.
