VIVIAN, La. -- The man killed Monday on the railroad tracks in Vivian has been identified.
The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office said Coty Hill Jr., 70, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fatal incident occurred near S. Pine Street and Camp Road around 4:20 p.m.
Caddo Parish sheriff's deputies responded to assist Vivian police. Hill was found unresponsive at the edge of the railroad tracks, the sheriff's office said.
The Criminal Investigations Division and Crime Scene Investigation teams from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office are conducting an investigation.
