ANACOCO, La. (KALB) - The softball facility at Anacoco High School is a total loss after an overnight fire. The 911 call came in around 7:30 p.m. Monday night. When firefighters arrived, flames were showing out of the building. The principal of Anacoco High School said that if anyone would like to donate, it would need to be made to the Anacoco High School Softball Team. Even though the building facility is a complete loss, the community is still willing to do whatever it takes to support the kids to bring the facility back to life. However, changes will need to happen quickly with the season starting next week.
