One person was injured after two pickup trucks collided just north of Kirbyville on Friday afternoon. Emergency crews responded to the crash shortly before 2:00 to Farm to Market Road 252 near County Road 506. According to Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark, a 16-year-old boy from Jasper was driving a 2007 Chevrolet pickup northbound and he turned left into the path of a southbound 2008 Chevrolet pickup, driven by a 17-year-old girl who was also from Jasper. Sergeant Clark said the girl was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The names of the drivers were not released.
