LASALLE PARISH, La. (KNOE) - Louisiana State Police investigators said Wednesday they are investigating a multi-agency police chase that ended with one person dead following a shooting.
The shooting happened around 4 p.m. on Louisiana Highway 28 near Dewey Willis WMA Road following a multi-parish chase involving both troopers and other law enforcement, LSP said in a statement.
No law enforcement personnel were harmed during the incident, troopers said.
Anyone with information, pictures and video are urged to share information with LSP detectives.
KNOE did email LSP several questions related to the investigation, including details about the person who died, the chase and other agencies involved. LSP responded saying no additional details are available for release.
