No injuries were reported following an accident involving both vehicles and boats that occurred on Monday about 8 miles north of Jasper. The volunteers of the Lake Rayburn Fire Department and other emergency crews were dispatched to the location at the intersection of Highway 96 and Recreational Road 255, shortly after 5:00, when it was reported that the crash involving two vehicles pulling boats and another sport utility vehicle had collided. What happened was not clear and at last word State Trooper Calvin Starkey was still trying to determine who hit who. However, the good news was that no one was injured in the crash that came at busy time when people headed home from the lake following the Memorial Day Weekend.
