No Injuries Reported in 18-Wheeler Accident North of Kirbyville On Friday afternoon around 2:00 pm, the Roganville and Kirbyville Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 96 north of Kirbyville. According to Roganville Fire Chief Mike Smith, an 18-wheeler traveling north attempted to turn into a driveway when a Dodge Ram flatbed, following closely behind, was unable to stop in time. The Dodge Ram veered off the road and struck the 18-wheeler on the cab's passenger side. Chief Smith confirmed that no injuries were reported. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident. During the investigation, northbound traffic was diverted to the left lane.
