No injuries in early Monday morning crash between Zion Hill and Erin

Archived as originally published. Information reflects the date of this article.

The driver of 2003 Chevrolet crew cab pickup truck was shaken, but not injured when the vehicle he was driving left the road and turned over early Monday morning on Farm to Market Road 1005, about two miles west of Highway 96, south of Jasper.

The volunteers of the Tri-Community Fire Department of Magnolia Springs and other emergency personnel were dispatched to the location near the intersection of County Road 339, shortly before 5:00, when it was reported that the accident had occurred.

The driver told firemen and others that he was traveling east on FM-1005 and headed to work, when he somehow lost control of the vehicle causing it to go off the road and overturn.

No fire resulted from the incident.
