Newton County Sheriff Billy Rowles announced on Monday that an employee within his department has been tested for Coronavirus.
Rowles said that he can’t disclose what position the person holds in the department.
At last word, Newton County had two confirmed cases of the illness. KJAS News has requested an update from County Judge Kenneth Weeks.
