New Criminal Charges Filed on Isaacks

An ongoing investigation has resulted in additional charges being filed against Adam Isaacks, the 38-year-old Silsbee man who is accused of sexual crimes against children. Bond has been set at $1 million dollars Isaacks is still being held at the Jasper County Jail.

As of Tuesday, Isaacks had a second degree felony charge of Sexual Abuse of a Child – Continuous added to his file, which is on top of the first charge against him, Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact which was brought forth by officials here in Jasper County.

Officials in Sabine County have also filed three new charges against Isaacks which include Sexual Abuse of a Continuous and Indecency With a Child by Sexual Contact. We're told bonds are $500,000 on those charges.

However, it may not be over Jasper County Sheriff Mitchel Newman and his Chief Deputy, Scotty Duncan have both said they believe additional charges might result from the continuing investigation.

Officers close to the investigation have said they believe Isaacks, who worked for a petroleum company and was involved in the Evadale Little League, took many young boys on trips to his camp house in Sabine County and even out of state and that it is in those settings that the crimes allegedly occurred.

Punishment on a charge of Felony 1 involving Sexual Assault of a Child-Continuous includes a sentence of no less than 25 years in prison.

Punishment on a charge of Felony 2 Sexual Assault of a Child carries punishment in the range of 2 to 25 years in prison.
