It's been released that John Cooper, 45, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder and attempted first degree murder in the shooting that occurred early Sunday morning, February 2, 2020, in Merryville, LA.
The victim was Linda Cooper, 74, the shooters mother.
Shots may have also been fired at Cooper's father, Clarence Cooper, however, he was not injured during the incident.
At the moment it is being labeled a domestic disturbance. The investigation is ongoing.
