MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas (KLTV) - Mount Pleasant police arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a child.
According to the Mount Pleasant Police Department, Caleb Garcia, 20, of Mount Pleasant, was arrested Thursday as a suspect in a child sexual assault investigation.
According to the MPPD, they were notified of a report involving the sexual assault of a child on Oct. 18. During the investigation, detectives learned Garcia and the victim first met through social media.
It was also learned that Garcia was arrested in Smith County on March 21 for sexual assault of a child but released the following day.
Caleb Garcia was booked into the Titus County Jail and is being held without bond.
