BUNKIE, La. (KALB) - Louisiana State Police said a man from Morrow died in a two-vehicle crash on Hwy 29, near Hwy 115 on Friday morning, March 27.
The crash happened around 7:15 a.m.
Steven Ducote, 68, was driving a 2015 Ford truck south on Hwy 29. At the same time, a 2024 International tractor-trailer was heading north on Hwy 29. The Ford crossed the centerline and collied with the tractor-trailer.
Ducote was wearing a seatbelt, but had fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was also wearing a seatbelt and had minor injuries.
Routine toxicology tests are pending.
