The City of Burnet has announced Helen Marie Pierce, 11, has been located after an Amber Alert was issued for the runaway.
“We are pleased to announce Helen May Marie Pierce has been located and is safely in the custody of law enforcement,” the city stated on their Facebook page.
The Burnet Police Department and the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office announced the Amber Alert March 7 after she reportedly left her home with an unknown man.
Investigators believed the girl may be in danger. Pierce reportedly left her home “willingly with an unknown male in a gray 4-door sedan,” police said.
The Amber Alert has been cancelled by the Burnet police.
