Burkeville Fire Chief Charles Duckworth says fortunately there were only minor injuries in an accident that occurred late Sunday night. It happened at about 10:00 on Highway 63 near Farm to Market Road 1415 in the Wiergate Community.
The crash involved an 18-wheeler hauling a load of telephone poles and a pickup truck.
