Jasper Police say a woman managed to steal approximately $400 worth of DVD movies from the Jasper Walmart on Saturday. Officers filed a report saying that store security personnel observed the woman, only described as a 24-year-old black female, stuffing DVD's into Walmart bags. The report said that she was confronted by security when she tried to leave the store and claimed that she lost her receipt. The report said she then fled to a black 2009 Chevrolet Malibu and left the parking lot. According to the report, police have tentatively identified her, but she has not yet been arrested pending the issuance of a warrant.
