A man who sexually assaulted three girls under the age of 6 and infected them with a sexually transmitted disease is going to state prison for 37 years.
On Wednesday afternoon, 28-year-old Taylor Justin Thomas appeared before State District Judge Delinda Gibbs Walker in the Jasper County Courthouse and pleaded guilty to Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. It was a plea deal worked out between the prosecution and defense.
The crimes occurred in 2023 at the Wickshire Lane Mobile Home Park on Highway 63 West.
Jasper County District Attorney Anne Pickle said the mother of the girls had left them with Thomas because he was supposed to be babysitting them.
