TYLER COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A man wanted for a Galveston County shooting was arrested on Wednesday by the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office, in late October, the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Alexis Delarosa, 38 of Texas City, for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The press release said that the warrant had stemmed from a shooting that happened during a domestic altercation in Galveston County.
Investigators later received information that Delarosa was staying at a home on the west side of Tyler County, the release stated.
The Tyler County Sheriff’s Office said that on Wednesday there was a joint-operation that resulted in the arrest of Delarosa.
Delarosa was taken to the Tyler County Jail where he remains until he’s transferred to Galveston County.
