A man was shot and killed during a family disturbance in Hardin County. It happened during the noon hour on Monday at a house on Jones Road, about 8 miles northwest of Kountze.
Hardin County Sheriff Mark Davis said deputies responded to the report of a disturbance and arrived to find the man’s body.
Davis said investigators have been interviewing witnesses, but so far there has been no arrest.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
