LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - A Lake Charles man is behind bars after shooting a person multiple times during a “heated argument,” deputies said.
Christopher Wayne Jones, 56, admitted to firing at the victim in a Moss Bluff home Sunday night, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said. The victim was brought to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
Jones faces a charge of domestic abuse battery with a dangerous weapon with serious bodily injury. He is held without bond pending a Gwen’s Law hearing.
