The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department says a deputy found a man who had been reported missing, and it turned out that he was wanted. The report said the deputy began investigating the disappearance of 47-year-old Derek Wayne Lynch and went to his last known place of place of employment and found him there. According to the report, Lynch was wanted by the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole for a parole violation on an original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Lynch was arrested and booked into the Jasper County Jail.
