The Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Department says a man who was released from prison just four months ago after serving time for child sex crimes has been arrested yet again, and again on child sex crime charges. Sabine Parish Sheriff Aaron Mitchell says 39-year-old Many resident Daniel Franklin Hardy, II is accused of sex crimes with children in the Toledo Bend area. Investigators say Hardy was sending indecent text messages to 12 and 13 year-olds, and he even met one of them. Hardy has been charged with 2 counts of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles, 2 counts of Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor, and 1 count of Sexual Battery with Victim under age 13. Bond has been set at $800,000.00. Hardy went to prison in 2020 after being convicted of Possession of Child Pornography and indecent Behavior with Juveniles.
