TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - An Oklahoma man pleaded guilty to child exploitation charges on Tuesday.

Rolando Alexis Bravo, 44, pleaded guilty to being involved in a conspiracy to transport minors.

According to court documents, on November 16, 2023, Bravo drove three minors from Lawton, Oklahoma to Dallas. In Dallas he met a co-conspirator in the crime, and they took the children to Tyler. The co-conspirator bought hotel rooms in Tyler, where the children were made to engage in prostitution, the documents stated.

Bravo could face up to life in federal prison. The actual sentence will be determined by the court based on the advisory sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors. The sentencing hearing will be scheduled after the completion of a pre-sentence investigation by the U.S. Probation Office.

This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice. It is being investigated by the FBI and the Tyler Police Department.
