The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department says a man died after a Tuesday afternoon incident that occurred as he was trimming trees along a highway about 8 miles south of Rusk. According to the department, 27-year-old Colton Sanchez, of Alto, was in a bucket truck when he was trapped between a falling limb and the bucket that he was operating out of. The report said Sanchez was rushed by ambulance to a local hospital where he died.
