Newton County Sheriff Robert Burby says a weekend murder is under investigation and a suspect is in custody. Burby says the crime occurred shortly after 5:00 p.m. at a house in the 100 block of County Road 4213 in the Deweyville area.
According to Burby, deputies responded after a 911 caller reported that 39-year-old James Hollie had been shot and killed.
Burby said deputies arrested a suspect, 20-year-old Zachary Allen Wilson, who was later charged with Murder and his bond was set at $75,000.00.
No other details were immediately available.
