A late Thursday night traffic stop in Buna resulted in a man going to jail on drug and weapon charges.
According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department report, shortly before 10:00 a deputy stopped 40-year-old Jasper resident Arnulfo Hernandez on Highway 96 and in the car he found 7.3 grams of methamphetamine and a shotgun with an illegal short barrel.
Hernandez was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
