The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department says a man named in multiple arrest warrants was taken into custody on Monday morning in the Roganville area. According to Deputy Karli Cherry, deputies went to a residence on County Road 451, commonly kmown as Bon Ami Road, in search of the fugitive. Cherry said the suspect, Diedric Gonzales, 48, of Kirbyville, was taken into custody without incident and he’s currently in the Jasper County Jail awaiting formal charges at arraignment. Cherry said once that has been completed, more information about the charges against Gonzales will be released.
