An investigation is underway after a man and woman were found dead in a Lufkin apartment on Tuesday. City of Lufkin spokeswoman Jessica Pebsworth said it was at Sunrise Landing Apartments on East Denman Avenue. According to Pebsworth, the apartment manager apparently found the bodies and reported it to police. The pair has been identified as Samantha James Johnson, 36, and Jacob Oyoo, 42. Meanwhile, autopsies are being performed to try to determine their cause of death.
