A man was jailed late Monday night after Jasper County deputies say he began making delusional statements, accused his girlfriend of being a robot, and threatened to harm her. It happened at a home on County Road 82, about 7 miles northwest of Jasper.
The report said when deputies arrived, the man, Jarrod Kelley, made delusional remarks to them as well. The girlfriend told them that Kelley had been drinking alcohol and using drugs.
Kelley was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threats – Assault Family Violence.
