There’s been another shooting in Beaumont, but this time police say a man accidentally shot himself. According to police, it happened at about 3:00 Saturday afternoon as the man was sitting in his vehicle on the parking lot of the Academy store on Eastex Freeway. Police say the man, whose name was not released, told officers that the gun accidentally went off, resulting in a gunshot wound to his leg. At last word he was undergoing hospital treatment.
