LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - A Lufkin man died Thursday evening after his vehicle ran off the road and into a ditch.
According to the Lufkin Police Department, Wille Coleman, 74, was driving north on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when his truck veered off the right side of the road, just outside the Brookshire Brothers Warehouse.
The police department, who responded to the incident around 7:45 p.m., said the vehicle drove through a ditch and creek before flipping twice and landing upside down. Coleman died at the scene.
The accident’s cause has not yet been reported, but the department said an autopsy has been ordered.
