LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) — No students were injured when a Lufkin ISD bus was involved in what the district said was a “very minor” wreck Wednesday morning.
According to a Facebook post, bus No. S33 was in the wreck. The post did not say where the wreck occurred. Students were transferred to another bus and taken to their campuses. Parents were contacted by the transportation department.
“The safety of our students remains our top priority,” the post said. “We appreciate the prompt response of our transportation team and first responders.”
