Beaumont Police are investigating a fatal crash at 2:30 a.m. Sunday. The driver of a Toyota Corolla was traveling east in the 1000 block of Interstate io and struck a Dodge Dart from behind. The driver of the Toyota lost control and left the roadway, striking a tree. The driver wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was killed on impact with the tree. The dead was later identified as Skylah Grimshaw, 23, of Louisiana.
