SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A United States district judge sentenced a Louisiana man to just over 21 years in prison Wednesday.
Darren Tremaine Jackson, 41, of Shreveport, was arrested in February of 2020 after a traffic stop led to the discovery of 1,000 grams of meth, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office release.
The release said Jackson was convicted in Acting U.S. Attorney Abe McGlothin Jr.‘s court of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute meth and possession with intent to distribute meth.
