LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - One person is dead and a man has been arrested after a fatal shooting in Longview. Longview police responded to the shooting in the 100 block of Hubbard Drive on Aug. 6. At about 6 p.m., police arrived and found that a teenager had been shot. He was taken by Longview Fire EMS to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police now say the teenager has died as a result of those injuries. Arrested in connection with the fatal shooting was Ja’Michael Devorea O’Quinn, 19, of Longview. O’Quinn was charged with murder. He is being held on a $250,000 bond.
