LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Longview police say that a woman was shot in a domestic disturbance on Monday night. According to police, at around 6:20 p.m. they were called to a shooting in the 300 block of Margo Street. When they arrived at the scene, they found a female victim who had been shot twice. She was taken to the hospital by Longview Fire EMS with non-life-threatening injuries. While investigating, detectives say they identified LaQualon Hale, 21, as a suspect. A warrant was issued for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon - family violence. He was found and arrested on Wednesday, July 10. He is being held without bond in the Gregg County Jail. Police say the event was domestic in nature, and they shared a reminder that resources exist for anyone who is in an abusive relationship.
