The Texas A&M Forest Service has announced that a logging contractor has been indicted by the Rusk County Grand Jury in an alleged timber fraud case. Terry Aron Beall, 57, of Henderson, and doing business as 2-Beall Logging, was indicted on a state jail felony charge of Timber Purchase as Trustee with Intent to Defraud. Prosecutors say Beall is accused of stealing proceeds from a timber sale from a Rusk County landowner in 2O21 by not paying the landowner all that they were owed from the sale of the timber. An indictment by a Grand Jury does not mean that the person named in the indictment is guilty of any crime. Instead, it only indicates that Grand Jurors feel that there is enough evidence to merit a trial.
