A Jennings, Louisiana woman has been charged with Murder and Cruelty to a Juvenile after her 10-month-old daughter died after she left the baby in her car. It happened on Tuesday, August 13th as temperatures soared to the upper 90s. According to Jennings Police, 32-year-old Hannah Faith Cormier told them that she accidentally left the infant in the car while she was at her job, which was from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, the hottest part of the day. She then took the baby to a hospital where police said her body temperature was measured at 109 degrees. The baby died the following day.
