Jasper teen one of three killed in Lufkin auto crash

Lufkin Police have announced that a jasper teenager has been arrested following a triple-fatality crash there which left another Jasper teen and two others dead, and three injured. It occurred at about midnight Saturday morning on South First Street in front of the Ralph & Kacoos Restaurant. Police say 17-year-old Tyler Lewis is charged with three counts of Intoxication Manslaughter, and additional charges are pending. According to Lufkin Police, Lewis was driving a small car southbound on South First Street when he made a sudden lane change and was rear-ended by another vehicle. The report said Lewis' car then spun into the median and came to an abrupt stop. According to the report, Lewis was not injured, but three passengers in the vehicle he was driving were pronounced dead at the scene and three other passengers were injured. Police said the driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured. The dead have been identified as:

Xavier Grimble, zo, of jasper

Antwonique Robertson, 18, of Carthage

Anastasia Gray, 19, of Carthage

The injured have been identified as:

Omorion Lewis, 17, of Jasper - Treated and released from a Lufkin hospital

Radaysha Jackson, 18, of Kirbyville - Flown to a Tyler hospital

Relly Brown, 19, of Carthage - Flown to a Tyler hospital
