Jasper Police are looking for a suspected hit and run vehicle following an auto accident that occurred shortly after 3:00 on Wednesday afternoon on the south side of town.
Officers say the accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 96 and Bulldog Drive when a pickup truck collided with a Nissan Altima sedan.
A passenger of the Nissan said that after the accident occurred the truck which was said to be a red Chevrolet kept going and did not stop.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
Police said the pickup most likely has a large scrape and damage down one side as a result of the crash.
